Gigi Hadid and Tan France’s Next in Fashion premieres on Netflix and the first trailer has just been released
DUBAI: On Friday, the world’s largest online streaming service, Netflix, released the first trailer for the upcoming second season of “Next in Fashion,” which features Part-Palestinian catwalk star Gigi Hadid and British TV personality Tan France.
Hadid announced the premiere date of the new season on Instagram, March 3.
She told her 77 million fans, “So excited to join Tan France.” We can’t wait for you to meet these designers because we had the best time ever working with them!
Season one of the reality fashion competition show premiered in January 2020, and featured 18 designers competing in weekly design challenges for a $250,000 grand prize and the opportunity to have their collection sold on Net-a-Porter.
The streaming service announced that a group of promising young artists would compete for $200,000 and “the chance to share their designs with the world” on a new season of the show.
For example: “Hey, hey! France says to Hadid in the trailer, “Nobody booked you to model, dear.” Hadid enters the room twirling as if she were a catwalk star. You have a real responsibility that needs to be fulfilled.
Clips of Hadid having conversations with the designers are intercut throughout the short trailer. In one clip, she asked, “Are you guys ready?” while in another, she encouraged the contestants by saying, “Fashion should be fun.”
In another scene, she wears the red Versace skintight catsuit she famously wore to the 2022 Met Gala. The outfit consists of a leather corset, pointed-toe knee-high boots, and a long, flowing red coat.
She then asks, “Tanny?” I can’t get down without some assistance.

The second season of Netflix’s designers are currently being cast. I’m sure there are lots of talented designers out there who could benefit from exposure here. You’re doubting your own judgement, aren’t you? Really, just do it. You have received a message and an opportunity. At the time, she encouraged her followers to “Show Us Your Creations” by posting a poster of herself and France.
The model claims that production on the show started in April of 2022.
Hadid took to Instagram to express her delight in the upcoming episodes and to gush about her co-host, the British reality TV star, whom she referred to as her “brother” and with whom she described the making of the new show as “a joy of my life.”
His “Next in Fashion” co-host is a “amazing mom,” according to France, who also praised her.
